Angled Custom Tent
Q:
When do you install the tent?
A:
In most cases, our installations are done on Wednesdays, Thursday and Friday and pickups are done on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This may vary according to clients needs
Q:
What is the difference between a tent and a canopy?
A:
A tent is a strong vinyl fabric supported by heavy-duty 8' side poles accompanied with respective sidewalls. A canopy is a lightweight vinyl fabric supported by 7' side poles. Canopies do not have sidewalls.
Q:
What is your reservation policy
A:
In most cases, to insure availability, New York Tent requires a major credit card. This credit card is charged the 1/3 deposit necessary to reserve your items. If the tent and rental items are cancelled within two weeks of the event, this deposit is non-refundable.
Q:
Are your tents clean?
A:
Each week our tents are inspected and maintained by an on site, full time cleaning crew. Once a tent matures, it is posted to our website and sold. This method rotates our inventory fast enough to keep our tents in new condition.
Q:
What is the difference between a traditional pole tent and a tension pole tent?
A:
A traditional pole tent simply uses center poles to hold the fabric in the air. It is the basic version of a tent and thus does not feature any peaks or valleys. A tension pole tent uses the fabric as part of the structural integrety of the tent thus providing an elegant profile and spacious interiors.

Q:
What is the difference between a pole tent and a frame tent?
A:
A pole tent needs to be staked into the ground on all four sides. Therefore, they must be installed completely on grass. If you plan to install a tent in tight quarters, on a deck or patio, a frame tent is needed.
